Who We Are

NYC Code Compliance was created to help electricians, contractors, and property owners navigate the electrical permitting process in New York City.

My name is Francisco Jerez. I have extensive experience working with electrical permits and the New York City Department of Buildings. I previously worked as an in house electrical expediter for a New York City electrical contracting company with more than 30 years of experience operating throughout the five boroughs.

In that role, I handled permit filings, violation research, job status tracking, and direct coordination with the Department of Buildings. This work required daily use of DOB systems, including reviewing open permits, checking violations, and making sure electrical work remained compliant with city regulations.

Through NYC Code Compliance, I help clients obtain electrical permits, resolve DOB and ECB violations, and understand the status of existing permits and filings.

My goal is simple: make the NYC electrical permitting process clear, efficient, and properly handled from start to finish.
